A three night four day retreat on devotion at the beautiful Satyananda Yoga Ashram near Daylesford.
Devotion Is It’s Own Reward: Finding the Bliss in Bhakti.
“In many traditions devotion is often described as the fastest path to enlightenment. During this retreat Lama Sumati Marut will delve deeply into the ways in which proper devotional practice can resurrect the divinity we have been missing and lead us to perfect happiness. Based on the “Narada Bhakti Sutra,” his classes will concentrate on the concept of “guru yoga” and other forms of spiritual devotion.
Cindy Lee will explore the “Nine Modes of Devotion” and tell the delightful tales of great Bhakti practitioners of the past, including the author of the “Narada Bhakti Sutra,” Sage Narada. The retreat will also include kirtan singing, fire offering ceremonies, yoga and meditation and time to rest, relax and enjoy.”
